South Georgia Specialty Hospital
We are a Long Term Acute Care Hospital
By serving as an extension of your hospital’s clinical continuum, South Georgia Specialty Hospital can help relieve the gridlock commonly experienced by many tertiary critical care units. Utilizing a long-term acute care hospital for appropriate patients can help efficient bed management or ICU units so hospitals can accommodate other admissions.
We are known for outcomes-oriented management of our patients. Our team continuously monitors goals, tracks outcomes, and remains abreast of the best clinical practices to incorporate into each program.
We understand the important of treating the whole patient. We treat not only the medical condition, but we also care for emotional, spiritual, and social needs. We are able to provide personalized attention in a close partnership with patients and their families because we are focused on extended hospitalization.
